Darius Edlinger is a live musician, composer and music producer from Vienna, Austria. He studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya. He has been involved in numerous international live music projects as well as studio productions and award winning agency works.
His most recent collaboration with violinists Aleksey Igudesman and Julian Rachlin reinterprets one of Beethoven's most famous works, "For Elise," and sets it in a new modern light, whilst citing the classic theme with a minimalist approach and staging it within a symphonic context. International tour performances include Konzerthaus Wien (w/ Wiener Symphoniker at Grosser Saal & Mozart Saal) and the Oslo Philharmonic.
He is currently working on a sound installation that can be experienced at Art Basel 2021.
